Online Norwegian Course A1-A2
For whom?
This course is suitable for those who are complete beginners in Norwegian, or who already know a few words and phrases but need a solid foundation. The course is particularly well-suited for:
- Newly arrived immigrants and refugees who need to learn Norwegian for everyday life
- People who need Norwegian for work, school, or to pass language tests (e.g., the Norskprøven)
- Anyone who wants to communicate at a basic level in Norway
What are the courses like?
The course is divided into two levels:
- A1 – You’ll learn the very most basic words, expressions, and sentence structures. You’ll be able to introduce yourself, talk about your family, numbers, the time, food, and simple everyday situations.
- A2 – You build on what you already know and learn to talk about the past and the future, express opinions, describe places and events, and have simple conversations on familiar topics.
The course typically includes:
- Oral exercises and conversation practice in pairs or groups
- Grammar tailored to the level (verbs, nouns, sentence structure)
- Listening exercises with audio files and videos
- Reading and Writing Assignments
- Practical topics: commerce, transportation, housing, work, health
- Preparation for the Norwegian Language Test (written and oral sections)
All classes are held online in real time.
